2009 Federal Republic of Germany Silver 10 Euro coin commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Birth of Marion Gräfin Dönhoff (1909-2002). DhofDöönhoff participated in the resistance against the Nazis during World War II along with dissidents such as Helmuth von Moltke, and Claus von Staffenberg who planted the bomb in the failed 20 July plot of 1944 to assassinate Hitler. DönhoffDönhoff's portrait appears on the reverse of the coin. Its obverse design features the German eagle, date right, denomination below. The coin comes with a plastic capsule as pictured. Struck in .925 Sterling Silver by the Hamburg Mint. It
